Silat

Graceful Strength

“I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.” – Bruce Lee

What You Need To Know!

When you step into our Silat classes, you’re not just learning a martial art; you’re immersing yourself in a rich cultural tradition. Beyond the physical benefits, you’ll experience the mental discipline and focus that Silat instills, helping you build confidence and resilience. Embrace the journey and discover how Silat can enrich both your body and mind.

Step Into Silat: Gear Up and Get Going

In our Silat classes, we ensure that you’re well-equipped with the basics to start your martial arts journey. We provide essential protective gear, including chest guards, shin guards, hand wraps, and groin guards, so you can train safely and with confidence. While we don’t supply the traditional Silat uniform (Baju Silat) upfront, we understand that committing to a martial art takes time. If you find yourself embracing the practice and wish to continue in the long term, typically after 5-6 months, we can assist you in purchasing the uniform through our center. This approach allows you to gradually immerse yourself in Silat, ensuring you’re fully prepared for the journey ahead. Our classes take place every Sunday evening, offering a consistent opportunity to refine your skills and deepen your connection to this rich tradition. Plus, we focus on Silat Lincah, but if you’re interested in exploring other Silat styles, we’re more than happy to work with you to find what suits you best.
