Do I need to buy equipment just to start archery? Like many sports, archery benefits from thoughtful planning—especially when it comes to equipment. That’s why Lepak ‘n Learn offers a loan program for beginners, giving families the chance to explore the sport before investing. Over the first month, students build confidence, develop interest, and strengthen their upper body—making it easier to decide if archery is the right fit before investing in their own gear.
Starting archery can be overwhelming even with basic questions like do you want to do Modern or Traditional Archery. Fret not, we’ll sort you out, come for a trial and we’ll take it from there. At LepaknLearn our classes cater for both Traditional Archery and Modern Recurve Archers. Traditional bows are less ‘assisted’ and rely solely on the archers ability, form, posture and focus. Modern Recurve archery is equally challenging, with a bow set that has accessories including sight, arrow rest and stabilizers.
Archery Competition and Exposure
Firstly we recognize each archer has their personal goals, some more for self realization and focus, some as a sport, some to compete and some for as a leisure sport with healthy competitions. LnL makes it a point for those that want to gain exposure are fully guided and trained to be ready for competitions. Besides rigorous archery training and extra coaching, understanding concept of archery competitions, maintaining a healthy mindset and focus are key.
In this year’s archery competition namely Liga Panahan Taktikal Kuala Lumpur held at the Taman Rimba Kiara, KL, 3 archers managed to successfully achieve podium finish, including two who just joined LnL Archery a couple of months ago. Our other seasoned archers were resting as they had just represented their school in inter-school at national levels during the Kejohanan Sukan Nasional Musleh (KESUNAS) 2025.
